About the Congress
The World Conference on Constitutional Justice (WCCJ) brings together 122 Constitutional Courts, Councils, and Supreme Courts from Africa, America, Asia, Australia/Oceania, and Europe.
It promotes constitutional justice as a key element for democracy, the protection of human rights, and the rule of law.
Organizational structure
The World Conference is composed of three bodies: the General Assembly, the Bureau, and the Secretariat. The Venice Commission acts as the Secretariat.
Main objective
To facilitate judicial dialogue among constitutional judges at a global scale through congresses, seminars, and the exchange of experiences.
